Key Information from our Poilcy Includes::
Importance of Attendance: Regular attendance is essential for student achievement.
Legal Requirement: Students are required by law to attend school every day the school is open.
Shared Responsibility: Maintaining regular attendance is a partnership between the school, students, and parents/guardians.
Notifying Absences: Parents must notify the school as soon as possible (before or during the school day) if a student will be absent or late.
Providing Reasons: A reason for any absence must be provided no later than the end of that school week.
Leaving School Grounds: Students may not leave school during hours unless a parent requests permission and signs the student out at the office.
Communication: We encourage parents to contact us immediately to discuss any barriers that may prevent a student from attending regularly.
Attendance Monitoring: The school maintains accurate records for every half-day we are open.
Missing Students: If a student is missing or does not arrive, we will check our records and notify parents in a timely manner.
Reporting: Attendance data is provided to the Secretary of Education daily, and the Principal reports regularly to the Board on attendance trends.

Specific interventions and strategies for different attendance thresholds.
Processes to identify and respond to patterns or underlying causes of absences.
