The school was founded in 1979 by the Open Door Christian Fellowship (now the New Life Centre). We began as a modest two-teacher school utilizing the American A.C.E. curriculum. By 1989, the school had officially registered as a Charitable Trust.
In the years following, the school transitioned toward the New Zealand Curriculum, a process that culminated in our formal integration into the state system in 1995. Since then, we have worked tirelessly to achieve academic excellence underpinned by a solid Biblical foundation.
In 2002, the school embarked on a significant rebuilding and development programme. This initiative provided a steady "face-lift" for our facilities and ensured our students have access to modern resourcing. This momentum has continued through several key phases:
2008: Construction of a new administration block and classroom, which became fully operational by Term 3.
2011 – 2019: Ongoing expansion, including the addition of new classrooms and dedicated resource areas.
2025: Completion of our most recent classroom block to accommodate our growing community.
Today, we are once again embarking on a new phase of expansion as we continue to invest in the future of our students.
