Welcome to Room 7!
I ask the Father in his great glory to give you the power to be strong in spirit. He will give you that strength through his Spirit. I pray that Christ will live in your hearts because of your faith. I pray that your life will be strong in love and be built on love. And I pray that you and all God’s holy people will have the power to understand the greatness of Christ’s love. I pray that you can understand how wide and how long and how high and how deep that love is.

Term 3 2025
Bible
We are beginning our Biblical Worldview program where we will look to answer some important questions about God and what we truly believe as Christians. In Devotions, we are looking at character qualities God calls us to exemplify. We will also be learning about how God calls us to manage our finances wisely, as well as practise generosity towards our neighbors.
Maths
We use the Prime Maths Programme as our main resource in mathematics. This includes learning about number bonds, place value, and simple mathematical operations. This term, will we be looking at strategies to help us with our mental maths, as well as multiplication and division.
Reading
Our reading program follows the Better Start Literacy Approach. This approach focuses on letter sounds and parts of words. We continue to develop our fluency while reading and strengthen our comprehension of what we read. In term three, we will spend more time learning about prefixes and suffixes.
Writing
We are working on refining our writing to make it appropriate for the audience and purpose we are writing for. This means we are working on expanding our thoughts, choosing interesting vocabulary, and revising our work. This term we will focus on writing to inform. We will be learning about procedural and instructional writing.
Topic
Our topic focus is Flourishing Economics this term. We will be studying community economics, how to earn money, use it wisely, and make good choices in regards to finances. We will aim to understand what God says about our finances and how to be generous to those around us.
