School History

The School was founded by the Open Door Christian Fellowship (now the New Life Centre) in 1979. Starting as a two teacher school, the American A.C.E curriculum was used. By 1989 the school had registered as a Charitable Trust. Several years later moves were made to integrate and use the New Zealand Curriculum. Integration was completed in 1995.

Following integration the school has worked hard to achieve academic excellence, based around a solid Biblical foundation. The school has eight classes and a teaching staff of ten.

In 2002 the school embarked on a massive rebuilding and development programme that has seen a steady face lift for the buildings and modern resourcing of the school. This building programme has continued with our newest classroom block being added in 2019.
