TERM ONE 2016 – BIBLE MEMORY VERSES ABOUT LOVE
1 Corinthians 13:4-6 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
1 Corinthians 13:6-7 Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
1 John 4:7-8 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and
whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. But anyone who does not love
does not know God, for God is love.
Matthew 5:43-45 "You have heard that it was said,
‘You shall love your neighbour and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, Love
your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons
of your Father who is in heaven.
Mark 12:30-31 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with
all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is
equally important, ‘Love your neighbour as yourself. No other commandment is
greater than these.”
John 14:21 Whoever has my commandments and
